Free automatic translators on the internet

The following websites (which I found using Google) provide access to free translators of web pages, text or single words/phrases from one language into another:

If you can find a good translator to your language, then you will probably prefer to translate entire web pages (because you can see the pictures as well and you should be able to follow links to other pages translating as you browse). Otherwise copy text from a web page you want translating and paste it into a translator window. As a last resort, read the text in English and use on-line dictionaries to translate words you have difficulty with.

Sometimes you will want to switch to a different translator because you receive errors (probably due to too many accesses at one time) or because you do not understand a translation. None of the translators are perfect (obviously).

If you want to translate my election manifesto using a web page translator, either copy the address from the top of the browser window, or enter (or copy and paste) the following text into its window: www.socialiststeve.me.uk/manifesto/index.htm

If you want to translate pages starting from my home page using a web page translator, enter: www.socialiststeve.me.uk

Shift click here to open my manifesto start page in a different browser. This will allow you to copy text from pages of my manifesto into translator windows.
