Mind control and the Greater Manchester Democratic Socialist Alliance launch

by Steve Wallis

25th March 2005

I am organising a launch meeting of Greater Manchester Democratic Socialist Alliance (GMDSA) on Thursday the 31st of March starting at 7pm, at the Friends’ Meeting House, Mount Street, behind Manchester Central Library, primarily on the issues of opposing Malcolm Glazer’s takeover of Manchester United, racism in football and the continued occupation of Iraq, and proposing thestanding of candidates in the forthcoming general election – see its website (www.gmdsa.org.uk) or discussion group ( http://groups.yahoo.com/group/gmdsa). I want to become MP for Withington, which would be a huge boost for the working class.

If conspiratorial organisations on the side of big business (including MI5 and the CIA but also more secretive and powerful ones that are safe from whistleblowers because very few people have heard of them) did not obstruct me and other people on the side of the working class, we would be able to build a very strong socialist organisation very quickly capable of winning many seats across Greater Manchester, but due to the huge vested interests involved, they will not let that happen. The most powerful technique at the disposal of conspiratorial organisations is mind control, which was revealed as number one in a list of “The World’s Greatest Conspiracy Theories” (and definitely true), with over 500,000 websites devoted to it, in a Channel 5 programme repeated on the 23 rd of December. Mind reading and control can be performed by individuals, as exhibited by magicians and the “former magician” Derren Brown to a large extent (and even myself to a small extent) or by machines. See my web page on “Conspiracy Theories” at www.socialiststeve.me.uk/conspiracies.htm for information about mind control and the other theories in the top ten.

There is now a complex web of conspiratorial organisations on the sides of both key classes in society (big business and the working class) – those on the side of big business are trying to stop a world socialist revolution and those on the side of the working class are trying to neutralise them so that a revolution will occur as quickly and as painlessly as possible. These conspiratorial organisations infiltrate other organisations on both sides in order to destabilise them from within or to support them, and the web is now so huge that no political activist in the UK is free from influence, either by recruitment to such organisations or by mind control.

The forces of big business cannot stop large numbers of new people attending demonstrations, rallies and meetings, but when some of them decide to get involved in left-wing organisations then they do start targeting those people. Additionally, people who play a large influence on my life and on the lives of other key individuals in society are also targeted. People on the side of the working class do not sit by and let this happen without fighting back; some of us set up our own conspiratorial organisations and use the same methods as those of big business, without stooping to their unethical practices such as torture, bombings or terrorism of course. Some say that manipulating people’s minds is unethical, but it is essential to put an end to all the problems of world capitalism, including poverty, unemployment, homelessness, discrimination, famines, deaths from preventable diseases, war and environmental destruction.

I have been severely hampered in my attempts to build a huge GMDSA launch meeting primarily by my incarceration by the British state as a political prisoner in a psychiatric ward (Brook Ward at Manchester Royal Infirmary). This has happened with various excuses since the summer of 1998, but on my latest admission I found that they can just make everything up! Therefore, becoming an MP is very important, not just because of what I could do in Westminster, but to get out of the rigmarole of being continually incarcerated. This is particularly important for the revolutionary socialist band called Galaxia (see http://groups.yahoo.com/group/galaxiamusic) that I will launch after the general election. Going on tour would be problematic if I could be incarcerated again at any time.

My first incarceration came after I became a serious factor in the world situation – by being the only person from England or Wales to support the setting up of the Scottish Socialist Party (SSP) from the platform of the “1998 European School of the Committee for a Workers’ International (CWI)” – where the CWI is an international organisation which unites the Socialist Party (formerly the Militant Tendency, which I joined during the 18 million-strong mass non-payment campaign that defeated the poll tax and brought down Margaret Thatcher) to similar organisations around the world. It was a conference of about 200 revolutionary socialists, supposedly some of the best in the world, but I discovered a huge level of infiltration at that event, which led to the Socialist Party and CWI opposing the formation of the SSP. I resigned from the Socialist Party later in 1998, but continued as a political activist in the Socialist Alliance (SA), and particularly campaigned against sanctions and war on Iraq, for freedom for Palestine and against ID cards.

The SA should have led to an organisation like the SSP, which now has six members of the Scottish Parliament, but it was dominated, wrecked and then dissolved by the Socialist Workers Party (SWP), whose leadership has always been dominated by conspiratorial organisations on the side of big business. Whereas in Scotland, socialists are united in the SSP, which now has six members of the Scottish parliament (MSPs), sectarianism from some socialist organisations (particularly the SWP and Socialist Party) is proving a big barrier to building similar organisations in England and Wales. After the dissolution of the SA, I had hoped that a “Socialist Unity” conference organised on the 12 th of March by the Socialist Alliance Democracy Platform (SADP) would lead to a Democratic Socialist Alliance (DSA) being set up on a national basis, but I was unable to attend and emails that I sent proposing such a move were ignored. I unfortunately sent an email a day too late for a Stockport SA/SADP meeting, because I forgot the day it was held, so I did not get agreement for the GMDSA launch from that meeting. Nevertheless, I had to press ahead because so much is at stake. The SADP has control over the DSA party name, so endorsement from that organisation’s leadership is necessary for any candidates the GMDSA agrees to stand, so I would like an SADP speaker at the launch meeting (apart from the fact that it seems to be the most positive organisation to arise out of the SA project). I would however put myself forward as an independent, or get us to adopt a similar party name if necessary. If we can get sufficient people to gather a proposer, seconder and eight assentors for each candidate, from electors in the appropriate constituency, we can get manifestos delivered by postal workers, so we could manage without many members.

The main way I have been hampered in building a big GMDSA launch meeting has been by my psychiatrists granting me very little leave and insisting that it is all escorted – which has meant that I have often not had all the leave that I have been promised and that I have been very restricted as far as handing out leaflets. The extent to which the web of conspiratorial organisations has permeated left-wing organisations has been revealed by the fact that I have not persuaded any other activists to take leaflets to hand out themselves (which would enable me to publicise a meeting point on the internet). I have to rely on publicising the meeting on the internet, which I will do to quite a large extent, but am also limited by technical problems preventing my laptop working with my mobile phone.

I have booked the Friends’ Meeting House for a meeting to pick candidates on Thursday the 7th of April at 7pm.
