Proposed by Steve Wallis
If you are concerned about infiltration by the state or
fascist organisations, and you are a member of a socialist organisation, a
campaign or a trade union branch, then I urge you to try to get this resolution
passed by that organisation. If you disagree with some of the points then by all
means delete them, but please take action.
If you are dubious that infiltration is a real problem, then visit the following
page on the fascist NRF's website: http://www.nationalbolshevik.com/nrf/nrfadviceforcadres.html
Infiltration is an international phenomenon so it would be most welcome if organisations
outside Britain could pass this resolution as well.
Best wishes,
Steve.
This organisation notes that:
a) Two leading members of the South London Republican Forum, Terry Liddle and Gary Holden, have been discovered collaborating with a fascist organisation called the National Revolutionary Faction (NRF) for over a year. Liddle and Holden claim to be revolutionary socialists, and are members of the London Socialist Alliance and the Green Party.
b) The NRF state on their website (unless they have removed the evidence) that "The NRF uses cadre activists to infiltrate political groups, institutions and services" with the intention of using them for their own ends, and they provide advice to those cadres about how to perform successful long-term entrism.
c) Finance capital controls the world, and London is one of the most important financial centres in the world. Therefore the capitalists and their representatives in the state are not going to let the London Socialist Alliance develop into a mass, vibrant, pluralist, democratic organisation that will be a threat to their power without a fight. One of their methods is to use MI5 to infiltrate left-wing organisations in order to subvert them from within.
d) The Green Party is already conducting an inquiry into the activities of Liddle and Holden.
We therefore resolve to:
a) Call on the London Socialist Alliance to hold an inquiry into the activities of Liddle and Holden, and investigate the possibility that they are agents of the state or a fascist organisation, or that they have been guilty of bad misjudgement and stupidity. This inquiry must invite representations from all members of affiliates of the LSA, anti-fascist/anti-racist organisations and trade union branches.
b) Send a copy of this resolution to the London Socialist Alliance, PO Box 20492, London SE11 5WL.
c) Publicise this resolution throughout this organisation.
